Mixed Mustard and Turnip Greens Recipe
- 1 lb. ham or salt pork
- 1-1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper or pinch of red pepper pod
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Wash greens carefully, removing any tough stems. Rinse 3 times in fresh water.
- Cook greens and meat together slowly for 2 hours until tender with seasonings.
- Serve with corn bread, sliced tomatoes and onions.
